People Just don't get it. . . . .

One example of the pains. . .
I am a ballet dancer.  I have taught myself everything I know.  Well, most of it.   The basics I was taught.  I have taught myself pointe and yada yada yada.  But no one understands how difficult it is to dance ballet.  Or any style of dance for that matter.  Us ballet dancers have to deal with sore feet, toes, muscles, and so on.  And it's just not the physical issues.  It's also the mental and emotional issues.  You have to be strong to do this.  It will wear you down.  You have to be so dedicated and you need to have the will power to get up on a Saturday morning when most teens are still in bed at 7 in the morning and start your routine.  Besides the will power, ballet will wear you down emotionally.  Every time you see another dancer you criticize yourself.  You always feel not thin enough or not good enough.  People don't get how hard this is! People don't know what we go through on a daily basis.  I have also noticed that a lot of people think that professional ballet dancers make loads of money.  Well I got some news for you people, they don't.  They aren't paid that well. But they do it because they love doing what they do.  But really, the point of this blog is that I just want people to understand what ballet dancers have to do.  Ballet dancers are one of the strongest individuals that there is.  Mentally, emotionally, and physically.  You cannot be week in any spectrum.  You must be strong.
